With a background in 2D illustration, I’ve recently completed a Games Art Masters degree. New World City
The final major project for my Games-Art Masters Degree. ‘New World City’ is a character design project exploring an international capital city of the future —a vibrant world cross-section inspired by existing international megacity subcultures. This environment concept envisions an international creative hub, center of digital innovation, and a global cultural melting pot. It seves a platform to explore the interplay between diverse cultural backgrounds and identities.
Throughout this project, I investigate the process of effective character creation, spanning from research, to initial concepts, to 3D models. Referencing the practices from exemplary character portfolios in other works, I depict culture and locale through my personal creative lens.

Made In Space
‘Made in Space’ is a character and costume design project exploring a full 3D project pipeline, from 2D concept to fully textured/rendered model. Inspired by a NASA article ‘Clothes “Made In Space”’, the theme was hypothetical astronaut fashion from a cute and creative perspective. This was my introductory project to Adobe Substance Painter as a texturing tool, exploring materials like glass, latex and fabrics.

Core +
Inspired by the nostalgia of early 2000’s dress-up games, Core+ is a low poly customisation game exploring Gen-Z aesthetics and inclusive fashion. This project incorporates nostalgic visuals with current trends and a more diverse customisation range. With inner, secondary, and outer layering options, the player can create an endless amount of style combinations and modesty options for their avatar. I created all of the visual aspects of the game including concept, modelling, texturing and interface- collaborating with a coder to set it all up in Unity.

Circus Royale
A character design project exploring the different eras of clowning and circus aesthetics in popular culture. From original americanised clowns such as Emmett Kelly, to modern tv interpretations like DC’s Joker, there was a huge pool of creative inspiration to work from. This project surrounds a circus-themed action game concept, with one design progressing into a 3D character model.
